It didn’t work for me at school, so I was worried to study again - I was helped to study along the way by my trainers. I had to retake some exams until I passed – I passed all the exams. I now work as an electrician & really happy
Enjoyed my onsite training, my centre was easy to get to & flexible to my other job, studied evenings & weekends. Passed all my exams, I qualified & am working – I hope to work for myself one day

Applied to the Wolverhampton training centre, local for me - the training was good & useful to learn something practical. Qualified as Level 1 plumber - now training for my NVQ level. The training is enjoyable, hard but good. When qualified, I have a potential work to go to
Enjoyed learning to become a welder, good facilities & practical experience to learn lots. Tutors were helpful using the tools, learnt lots to each exam. Also have a CSCS Card so I can work safely on a building site – helping me apply for jobs
Not many job opportunities where I am, so I retained as a plumber – by receiving an interest-free flexible repayment loan, was able to do the course. My courses were run by very knowledgeable & helpful tutors – they explaining each course exam module & what I needed to do. They answered all my questions; appreciate in making my time easy. All my learning was important to set me up with a job – looking forward to my future
After I left school, I worked for a few years. I’m now studying an electric course & want to ultimately install car charging units. My study is flexible, so I can work & study part-time. I passed my City & Guilds Level 1 & 2 - now taking the higher level NVQ on-site. I’ve been introduced me to a company near-by & hope to start working with them when I fully qualify
